Through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), eligible older Australians can access government-subsidised home repairs and maintenance services that help create a safe and livable home environment.

Our trusted, fully licensed tradespeople can assist with a wide range of minor home maintenance tasks, including:
- Minor plumbing repairs, including tapware and toilets
- Minor electrical repairs
- Repairs to your locks, windows and doors
- Minor carpentry work, including upgrading locks and fixing doors and cupboards
- Re-meshing windows and door screens
- Installing perspex shields on screen doors
All repairs are completed by vetted and qualified professionals who prioritise your safety, comfort, and peace of mind.

Program Contribution
LifeTec is funded through My Aged Care under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) to provide eligible seniors with access to home maintenance and minor home modifications.
Under CHSP, a co-contribution toward the cost of services may apply, based on your financial circumstances.

Who's Eligible?
Eligibility for CHSP is based on your age and support needs. If everyday tasks have become more difficult and a little support could improve your health and wellbeing, CHSP might be right for you.
You may be eligible if you are:
- 65 years and older (or 50 years or older for Aborignial or Torres Strait Islander people)
- 50 years or older (or 45 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people) on a low income and homeless, or at risk of homelessness
An aged care assessment will determine your eligibility for CHSP services, including specific modifications and repairs.
